In February 2020, more than 1,000 people gathered at the JW Marriott resort in San Antonio for Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Group’s annual national sales meeting. There, the Minwax team unveiled a full refresh of the brand’s Wood Finish Oil-Based Penetrating Stain, as well as introducing the revitalized Wood Finish Color Stains — easy-to-use, tintable to 200+ colors and now available in both semi-transparent and solid formulations. Further, the team debuted the Design Series line of unique color washes, finishing waxes and wood effects, and the trendy Ultra Flat sheen of the Polycrylic Protective Finish. To help spark our sales team’s interest and awareness of the launch, we delivered four comprehensive sell sheets, standing banners for the show floor and an eye-catching t-shirt the Minwax group wore with pride. The interest generated at the sales meeting helped the overall launch off to a phenomenal start at Lowe’s, Menards and many other retailers.
